Aberystwyth University Support
Since implementing Agresso Aberystwyth University had had issues with accurate commitment accounting especially in the area of VAT recoverability.
Highpoint were engaged by the University to help with a number of post upgrade issues including commitment accounting.
Where appropriate the university wished to charge the unrecoverable portion of VAT back to the originating department, however their standard implementation only worked on net figures and did not work at all on when the analysis on Purchase Orders had been split across multiple codes.
Highpoint have over a number of years developed a solution for the rebuild of commitment accounting figures that take into account VAT recoverability and split analysis ensuring upto date accurate commitment figures at all times. This solution was implemented at the university and they now have accurate and reliable commitment accounting data.
Aberystwyth University Training
The brief from the project team was to deliver as much end user material as possible for a minimal budget. After a brief consultation it was decided that flash cards were the most appropriate providing some end user training material to the largest number of users whilst enabling the University to update it Themselves when required. By utilising Highpoint the university accessed a wide range of templates flash cards which were easily amended to reflect the universities ABW configuration.
